Each day it takes a devoted team of 8-12 volunteer cooks, dishwashers, waiters, supervisors, cleaners, and drivers to make the cafe run smoothly. Put simply, the cafe could not exist without our big friendly team of dedicated, passionate volunteers.
Our volunteers come from all sorts of cultural, religious, and political backgrounds, but we all share a commitment to the cause fighting poverty and building community. There is no single prototype for the ideal volunteer so whoever you are, we want to hear from you.
